THE F CARD
WORLD-WIDE RELEASE - 6TH APRIL
The F Card is the ideal format for presenting both our music, films and information about all the upcoming live appearances; it also acts as a membership card for the exclusive Fischer-Z club. It is in the form of the USB stick credit card that can be carried in your wallet. The first one this year, the F01 card, has three brand-new audio tracks, extracts from a future live DVD, and will provide Club Members with exclusive offers and comprehensive information about all upcoming events. This will be the first of 4 cards, F01-F04, to be released over the next 12 months. Vinyl and other formats will come later depending on Club demands. For us, this is a fresh and more vibrant way of releasing our music and letting our fans have exclusive access to more behind the scenes information and enable financial benefits of being part of the club.
1. Big Wide World
Inspired by a very positive homeless man I talk to regularly, concerning the idea of returning in your mind for comfort to a time of youthful innocence and infinite possibilities when times are hard. Musically it's an alternative pop song.
2. No Bohemia
This was my world aged 9 in the early 60s, being brought up by Victorians. I thought at the time it was very ordinary, but I now realise it was quite bohemian! The song is mainly piano and voice with a mini orchestra joining at the end.
3. Vitriol Skies
Based on some great advice given to me by my Dad about ignoring the pressures to conform. It's a laid back 'torch' style song with a slow groove and some big choirs.
