50th Anniversary
2026 is a big one for Fischer-Z. 50 years since the band formed and played their first ever tour in Autumn 1976. The band will play an extensive world-wide anniversary tour in Spring and Autumn 2026.
In terms of a release there will be a new album and high quality retrospective anniversary package to celebrate John’s career so far.

The new album is set to be called ‘50/50’ and will be released on the 4th September 2026. This will include 5 excellent new songs (3 singles) and 5 re-imagined versions of John’s favourite songs from the first 5 albums - The Worker, So Long, Berlin, One Voice and I Smelt Roses on the Underground.
