50th Anniversary
2026 is a big one for Fischer-Z. 50 years since the band formed and played their first ever tour in Autumn 1976. The band will play an extensive world-wide anniversary tour in Spring and Autumn 2026.
In terms of a release there will be a new album and high quality retrospective anniversary package to celebrate John’s career so far.

The new album is set to be called ‘50’ and will be released on the 4th September 2026. This will include 5 excellent new songs (3 singles) and 5 re-imagined versions of John’s favourite songs from the first 5 albums - The Worker, So Long, Berlin, One Voice and I Smelt Roses on the Underground.
